Matthew Shampine
Matthew Shampine graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2005 with a degree in Computer Science, and now work as a Facility Manager at Drexel University. He is currently working on his Master of Science in Information Systems at Drexel. Matt also co-founded a growing web solutions company with his late friend, Matthew D’Amico, and continues to serve clients throughout the East Coast.
Outside of work, his interests lie in encouraging political activism and participation in government among youths and fellow Asian Americans. To that end, he is a former GOP Municipal Chairman for the Borough of Palmyra in New Jersey, former treasurer for the Burlington County Young Republicans, officer of the Pan Asian American Leadership Caucus, member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, former member of the College Republicans, and member of the steering committee of his church, First Korean United Methodist Church of Cherry Hill. Although ultimately unsuccessful in 2007, Matt ran in a competitive campaign for a seat on the Palmyra Borough Council at the age of 24.
