Mr. Howard Li is the founder, Chairman & CEO of Waitex International Co., Ltd. / Prime Time International, Inc. and Fortune USA, Inc., which began operations in 1981 in New York City. Mr. Li also is the founder and sole owner of a conglomerate of multinational companies involving real estate development, global trading and retail stores.
Waitex has 15 facilities on the East and West coasts, totaling 2 million square feet of warehousing space and 600 service specialists, providing complete supply chain solutions includes order processing, EDI, ASN, UCC128, Web Development and pick, pack, ship, storage, etc. Waitex provides all kinds of service to manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers, e-tailers, all under the same roof.
Prime Time International, Inc. owns famous national brands and manufactures, imports and wholesales apparel, toys and giftware to major department and specialty stores across the United States.
Fortune USA Inc. specializes in excess inventory management, Barter Trade, liquidation and selling highly discounted brand names merchandise to retailers worldwide. Fortune USA is a dominant player in buying and reselling off-price brand name merchandise in the industry.
Howard Li is very dedicated to the Asian American business community, and his deep rooted knowledge of both Chinese and American business methods make him a highly sought after advisor on Asian/Western economy. He is a Director/Committee Member of the Minority Business Round Table, supported by the Minority Business Agency division of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In addition, he is an advisory council for the State of New York Retirement Systems. He is Vice President of U.S. China Association for Promotion of Economy & Trade, an organization which promotes trade between the United States and China. He is also the Director of the Asian American Business Development Center, a non-profit organization that assists Asian Americans in developing businesses. He is an Advisor of the U.S. China Chamber of Commerce in United States. Furthermore, he is the President of US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce East Coast Chapter. The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) is an 18-year-old, national, non-profit business organization, promote, nurture and propel economic growth by opening doors of contract, education and other opportunities for Asian Americans and their business partners in corporate America and government agencies. He also served as the Co-Chair of the National (MED) Week 2002-2003. MED Week is the largest federally sponsored activity held on behalf of minority business development.
In recognition of his entrepreneurial success and dedication to the Asian community, Howard Li has received awards from various governmental figures. He was chosen as an illustrious recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award for 2001, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Finalist of New York City for 2001, and Regional Minority Outstanding Business Enterprise Award Recipient for 2001, presented by MBDA.
