Fred Teng
Fred Teng is President of Noble Communications Group, Inc, a strategic consultant and advisory company. Prior to his current position, Mr. Teng worked for AT&T, first, as the national public relations director for the U.S. Asian markets. Mr. Teng then headed AT&T's Asian and Diversified markets, with responsibility for the development and execution of integrated marketing communications programs. Before joining AT&T, Mr. Teng spent over a decade in the financial industry, beginning with Merrill Lynch and later with Oppenheimer & Company.
Mr. Teng has served in the leadership role of many national and community based organizations. He was the president of the Chinese American Planning Council; the president of the Asian Financial Society; and a national board member of the Organization of Chinese Americans. Mr. Teng also served as the co-chair of the China Institute's President's Council, and as the chairman of thirteen/WNET's New York community advisory board. Currently Fred Teng is the Vice Chairman of the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging, a board member of the New York Chinatown YMCA, an advisory board member of the Asian American Business Development Center, and a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. Most recently Fred Teng was appointed by the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration to serve on the National Advisory Board of the Small Business Development Centers.
